This past weekend I had an in-home newborn session with sweet baby Kaitlyn…just 10 days old! The first thing I said to her beautiful mommy, Paloma, was “She MUST have been a C-Section baby!” because she was perfect! I was shocked when she told me that she was not! I just love newbies! We had a great session and had such a good time visiting with their family…I just love my job!

I photographed Ms. Kameron with her mommy and daddy this past weekend at their beautiful home in Fort Worth. You may recognize these new parents from their maternity session a few months ago! We had a wonderful session and were even able to get a few portraits with Kami’s adoring big sister, Bella (the most sweetest English Bulldog ever!). Enjoy!

I had been looking forward to this session from the second I found out Roberta was pregnant! Roberta and I were best friends in the 7th grade and were quite close all the way up until the 10th grade which is when she moved away to Florida. We lost contact and that was the last I had heard from her…until Facebook! Don’t you just love Facebook?! We reconnected and she shared her special news with me; I was so honored that she chose me to photograph this amazing moment in her and Ricky’s life! I was so excited to see her and wasn’t the least bit surprised that we started up right where we had left off! While we were chatting I remembered why we were such good friends…she is such a sweet and thoughtful person! I am so thankful that we reconnected and I am so thankful to have my childhood friend back! So, meet baby Lucas; absolutely perfect in all ways! Meet big brother Logan; the proudest big brother I have ever witnessed! I can only begin to imagine the fun these two boys will be having growing up!

Meet sweet Annabelle! Yesterday I went to Jim and Tori’s home for their newborn session and had a great time! Ms. Annabelle was simply perfect and I absolutely enjoyed visiting with Jim and Tori. Enjoy!

Today I had an in-home newborn portrait session with Ms. Avery…7 days old! I know, I know…awwww! I always love photographing newborns, and the younger the better! Before they are 14 days old is ideal. They are more ‘bendy’ and will pretty much sleep through anything…except for Avery. She had to be one of the most alert and strong week old newborns I have ever seen! I was blown away! Even though she did not sleep for much of her session she was just happy and content which also makes for great portraits!

Today baby Luke came to the studio for his newborn portrait session. What a cutie is he?! I have really enjoyed photographing the Peden family; they are on the Bella Beginnings plan (maternity & newborn portrait package). Michelle and her husband, Jeff, are very laid back and easy going and their 2 year old, Grace, is an absolute sweetheart with a great personality! (Some of the things she says just crack me up!) I am really excited to see how Mr. Luke turns out…I see him being an full of energy and spunk as well Thank you so much Michelle and Jeff for choosing me to capture this awesome time in your lives!

Today I had an in-home newborn session with baby Campbell. You might remember her parents, Amy & Michael, from their maternity session a few months ago. I always recommend the in-home sessions to my clients with newborns; it just seems to be so much easier on them! Campbell was very alert and awake for her session; I think she was afraid she was going to miss out on something. Campbell is going to be a beautiful little girl….just look at her parents!
